The serum gives the skin a soft golden finish. The formula of 5% niacinamide, diglucosyl gallic acid and mulberry leaf extract reduces hyperpigmentation, pimple marks as well as imperfections and improves skin radiance, while restorative omega oils nourish and soothe. At the same time, light-reflecting pigments revive a matte complexion without leaving a glittery finish.

The serum is formulated to be mixed with any Drunk Elephant moisturizer, serum or oil to add a touch of color.

- 5% Niacinamide: Niacinamide, also known as Vitamin B3, has a variety of benefits, most notably the ability to improve signs of aging (fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness) and imperfections in skin tone and texture. Research has shown that even at low concentrations, niacinamide strengthens the skin barrier, can stimulate skin synthesis of ceramides and cholesterol - both important substances for skin barrier health and elasticity - and improve the skin's protective mechanisms against water loss.

- Diglucosyl Gallic Acid: Converts to trihydroxybenzoic acid in the skin, which inhibits excessive melanin production and soothes the skin. It also has strong antioxidant properties.

- Mulberry leaf extract: Commonly known as mulberry leaf. Has a calming effect and has the potential to soften hyperpigmentation, especially when combined with other brightening agents.

- Squalane: Of plant origin (from olives). Squalane naturally moisturizes, softens and provides natural antioxidants that soothe and protect against water loss from the skin's surface without leaving a greasy feeling.

- Virgin Marula Oil: Rich in essential antioxidants and omega-6 and -9 fatty acids, this easily-absorbed oil moisturizes, nourishes and regenerates the skin, giving it a youthful glow.

- Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Oil: Plukenetia Volubilis seed oil comes from the Amazon and is commonly known as Sacha Inchi or Inca Peanut (it is not a peanut and is therefore safe for people with nut allergies). It is rich in antioxidant components (vitamins A and E) as well as essential omega-6 (linoleic acid) and omega-9 fatty acids (oleic acid). It also contains three times as much linoleic acid as coconut oil and more than 30 times as much as avocado oil.

- Quercetin: Quercetin is a plant-derived, antioxidant bioflavonoid that has a calming effect and has been shown to promote healthy collagen production in the skin. When combined with lipids and natural moisturizing agents, the effects of Quercetin are further enhanced.
