Siberian fir opens the composition with its characteristic green, aromatic freshness. Cedarwood lends the scent a warm, dry woody note, while moss provides earthy depth and the impression of a dense forest floor. Together, the notes evoke fresh fir branches and the unmistakable scent of a newly erected Christmas tree—natural, woody, and wonderfully wintry.
Once lit, the room fragrance unfolds gradually and lasts a long time, reaching its peak scent intensity after about 20 minutes.

The Sapin scented candle by Diptyque is a handcrafted composition of exceptional refinement that deserves careful attention. With just a few simple steps, you can allow its fragrance to unfold to its fullest intensity and extend its lifespan.
Preparing the space: To protect delicate surfaces such as wood or marble, we recommend using a candle holder.
Lighting: The fragrance is released as soon as the flame is lit. We recommend using a match to light the candle to avoid the risk of burns.
Burn time: The candle should burn under supervision until the entire layer of wax has melted—usually about four hours.
Extinguishing: A candle snuffer prevents wax splatters or stains. Then trim the wick with a wick trimmer, cutting it to about 5 mm to ensure a clean burn the next time you light it.
Finishing: Once only about 5 mm of wax remains or the metal holder becomes visible, the candle should no longer be used.
Room Air: After the candle has gone out, it is recommended to ventilate the room to refresh the air and allow the scent experience to fade away harmoniously.
