Opus XVI Timber opens with monumental force: a strong, robust, bold vertical aura of woods. But within moments, a wealth of nuances is revealed. The light, woody facets of cypress, cardamom, and lavandin lend the fragrance a radiant luminosity. Incense, juniper, and balsam fir bring their own vibrant energy to the mix. Finally, palo santo, sandalwood, cedarwood, and patchouli ground the whole with their uncompromising authority—symbols of a wisdom that remains steadfast and is not carried away by the tides of changing fashions.
