Irene Forte's skincare line of the same name is a homage to her Italian roots. As Spa Director, she is responsible for the worldwide wellness concept of Rocco Forte Hotels. Inspired by the nature of Sicily, she developed a natural skincare line with purely botanical, regional skincare ingredients, with a particularly sustainable approach.

A subtle, enveloping fragrance with velvety soft textures that are immediately absorbed and moisturize - skin wellness at its finest, that convinced us quickly. When we meet Irene for the interview, she embodies what her products promise: A relaxed naturalness with a youthfully fresh radiance.

How did you come to skincare?
I have been interested in wellness since my youth. It started with fitness and healthy nutrition and later developed into skincare. I first launched a small beauty line (Rocco Organics) for the Rocco Forte Hotels in 2014. Since then, I had the incentive to learn more to develop an even better and bigger skincare line that bears my signature. It took me three years to launch my line last year.

What is unique about the Irene Forte Skincare brand?
My care is like a Mediterranean diet for the skin, inspired by Sicily and handmade in Italy. I obtain the ingredients from our own organic farm in Verdura. Besides the natural origin, the efficiency of my products is essential to me. We use many active ingredients such as double hyaluronic acid, tetrapeptide 9 and ceramides, to name a few.

What was the most important thing when choosing the ingredients?
For me, mild and skin-friendly ingredients are important. Our products are free of allergenic essential oils. I use Mediterranean ingredients that are nourishing and moisturizing. Prickly pear, hibiscus flower, sweet almond oil, aloe vera juice, and olive oil are just a few of them. I have integrated almost every ingredient into my skincare under the Mediterranean sun (she laughs).

Irene Forte Skincare's herbal wonders provide the skin with a wealth of vitamins, fatty acids, and antioxidants that rejuvenate, protect, and nourish.

Prickly pear - the vegetable hyaluronic acid and latest superfood - rich in vitamins K, E, and C.

The moisturizing cream smoothes and revitalizes the complexion. The unique blend of prickly pear, hyaluronic acid, and hibiscus peptides intensively moisturizes and helps to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Olive and rice extracts, rich in skin-enhancing nutrients and antioxidants, nourish and protect. Suitable for all skin types, especially for mature, dry, or dehydrated skin.

Hibiscus flower - also called botox plant - is proven to inhibit the enzyme elastase and counteract the loss of elasticity of the skin tissue.

The unique combination of peptides from hibiscus, pea, and tetrapeptides offers a skin tightening effect and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The multimolecular hyaluronic acid duo provides particularly proper hydration, while an omega-rich olive oil nourishes the skin's natural barrier and protects it from drying out. Suitable for all skin types, especially for mature, dry, or dehydrated skin.

Pistachio oil - rich in vitamins and minerals - regenerates and provides intensive moisture

The face mask moisturizes and cushions the skin. Antioxidant-rich olive oil and rice, panthenol B5 and aloe vera have a caring effect and strengthen the skin's protective barrier. Pistachio, pumpkin seed, and avocado oils regenerate and ensure smooth, supple skin.
