Care lotion for hands and body with notes of Amber, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Benzoin, and Frankincense.
Warm and spicy amber. A scented caress that lingers softly on the skin, a subtle olfactory signature.
Key notes:
- Amber: The "amber" accord, born in the early 20th century, is a construct of the mind. Formed of several raw ingredients – tonka bean, vanillin, coumarin, labdanum, patchouli, and benzoin and incense resins – it is an alchemy that fuses sensuality with refinement.
- Tonka bean: This so-called "Brazilian vanilla" is extracted from the dried and rum-soaked seed of a tree that grows from Brazil to Mexico. Its aroma is caramelised, almost roasted, with vanilla and almond qualities that sweeten its accompanying ingredients.
- Benzoin Styrax Benzoin: A unique tree found within the expansive mountainous forests of Laos, its bark sliced 15 centimetres in allowing resin to “weep” out three months later. Harvested by hand, the gum has long been used in incense for its vanilla, liquorice, honey and almond aroma.
