AMEN PICASSO JAZMIN SCENTED CANDLE

AMEN turns scented candles into small works of art: For the Picasso collection, art historian and curator Diana Widmaier-Ruiz-Picasso, a granddaughter of Pablo Picasso, selected works by her grandfather and translated each into a scent.

In the 1927 painting “Guitare à la main blanche,” the letters “MT” provided the inspiration for the fragrance. The initials of Marie-Thérèse Walter reminded Widmaier-Ruiz-Picasso of a love letter from her grandfather in which he compared his lover’s scent to star jasmine.

• The Picasso collection is a collaboration between AMEN and Diana Widmaier-Ruiz-Picasso for the Musée Picasso in Paris. The motifs she selected represent her grandmother Marie-Thérèse Walter, Picasso’s longtime muse and lover.
• The candle (200 g) is hand-poured in Grasse using natural plant wax. It is free from paraffin and has a burn time of approximately 50 hours.
• After the candle has burned down, the reusable white Limoges porcelain vessel can be repurposed as a decorative art object or for storing small items. The beechwood lid is sourced from reforested areas.
• The plastic-free packaging is made from mushroom mycelium and agricultural byproducts and is biodegradable.
• Made in France.

Place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface. On first use, allow the candle to burn until the wax has melted evenly across the surface and reached the edge of the vessel.

Before each subsequent use, remove any charred buildup from the wick and trim it to approximately 5 mm.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials. Allow the vessel to cool completely before moving it or replacing the lid.
