The delicate foam cleanses and nourishes the skin. The green and woody notes of the tree blend with the sweetness of the fruit to create a subtle sillage.
Key notes:
- Blackcurrant bud: A plant that makes its home in Burgundy. Only during its dormant period, just after the leaves have fallen, can its aromatic red buds be obtained. The extract, tart, green, fruity and sweet-smelling – reminiscent of boxwood – has only been used in perfume since the 1970s.
- Cedarwood: A major wood in perfumery, the smell of cedar is that of wood shavings. This note gives structure, running through the fragrance from beginning to end. Depending on its origin – Virginia, Texas or Morocco – it can appear clean, evocative of pencil shavings, or leathery and animalic.
