5 varieties × 10g | 50g organic tea powder:
- Organic Ceremonial Matcha: Theall-rounder from Uji, Kyoto. First-harvest matcha with natural sweetness, creamy umami, and a silky finish—enjoy it straight or as a matcha latte.
- Organic Traditional Matcha: A robust matcha from Uji, made from the first and second harvests. Intense green tea flavor, delicate umami, and a slightly tart note—especially delicious as a matcha latte.
- Organic Okumidori Matcha: A single-cultivar matcha from Uji. Made exclusively from the Okumidori tea plant and the first harvest—smooth, well-rounded, and naturally sweet with intense umami and almost no bitterness.
- Organic Hojicha Powder: Roasted Japanese green tea with a distinctive warm, nutty, and roasted flavor. Enjoy it straight or as a creamy Hojicha latte.
- Organic Mulberry: The caffeine-free alternative for your matcha ritual. Finely ground white mulberry leaves from Japan with natural sweetness and a gentle, green flavor profile—ideal for the evening, too.
Measure the matcha: Use a chashaku (bamboo scoop) or a teaspoon to add approx. 2g of matcha to your chawan (bowl).
Add water: Pour 70–100 ml of water (max. 80°C) into the bowl. Ensure the water is not boiling hot, so the matcha does not become bitter.
Whisk: Whisk the matcha using the chasen (bamboo whisk) with rapid "W" or "M" motions until a fine, fluffy layer of foam forms.
Enjoy: Add more water or milk (and ice cubes, if wanted) and enjoy your matcha!
