Turn Back Time
Kathi in Paris...
If you’re ever in Paris, make La Maison myBlend a must-visit. The chic minimalist institute combines a flagship store with a wellness space that combines personalized skincare with tech-driven treatments. Founder Dr. Olivier Courtin’s vision? To create a holistic concept for maximum efficacy where high-performance formulas meet peptides, cutting-edge technology, and supplements. My experience? Nothing short of amazing. First, I entered the LED mask room – a true time capsule – where my skin received a supersonic boost in under 10 minutes. LED therapy is trending for good reason: with 288 LEDs, it’s using red (630nm) and infrared (850nm) light to deeply regenerate the skin, reduce wrinkles and create a radiant glow. According to a clinical study by the brand, after one month of use, skin appears about three years younger and firmer. After just one session, I can already see the difference. Good news: for at-home treatments, you can buy myBlend’s LED mask at the institute (or at Niche Beauty, wink-wink).
Next stop: the treatment room. Before starting, my skin was scanned, and I answered a few lifestyle questions with a focus on epigenetics. With dry skin and pigmentation spots, I was assigned the Essential Treatment, a personalized anti-aging facial. After cleansing, exfoliation, and a blissful neck massage, the CellSynergy device used radiofrequency waves to penetrate deep into the skin, firming, rejuvenating, and sculpting both my face and neck – because, let’s be honest, the neck always gives away your true age. Not mine anymore! I left looking like I had stepped out of a time machine.
Location? Still the same: La Maison myBlend on Rue Debelleyme.
