The San Francisco-based skincare line was founded in 2016 by Athena Hewett, an esthetician with over 20 years of experience in skin and skincare. After observing that conventional products could exacerbate existing skin concerns, she developed her own nature-based approach. Her inspiration began in childhood: while visiting her grandmother in Greece, she learned to create skincare and healing remedies from herbs.
