Every year on March 8, we celebrate International Women's Day. We make a whole week out of it and celebrate women who have pulled up their own beauty business, not only brightening up our hair and skin, but also making us feel more confident, braver and more comfortable every day. For this exclusive (women's only!) party, we invited fabulous founders Gucci Westman, Miranda Kerr, Kat Burki, Monika Blunder, Mathilde Lacombe and Tina Craig.

New York-based Gucci Westman is a star among makeup artists and is celebrated by celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz. Born in California and raised in Sweden, her signature look is convincing in addition to her natural style: a radiant, fresh complexion. From this preference, she created a luxurious product range that offers not only effortlessly beautiful and skin-caring makeup, but also clean formulations with the highest scientific standards. The natural, everyday colors flatter every skin type, while the buttery-soft textures of all products are coordinated to blend seamlessly with the skin - no matter the order of application. Simple, glamorous, pure: Westman Atelier creates a perfect glow that lets skin breathe.

Australian Miranda Kerr is not only beautiful, but arguably one of those women who can be called super talented: Mother, model, entrepreneur, wellness enthusiast and clean beauty advocate. Through her career start as a Victoria Secret Angel, she had a holistic understanding of beauty early on. From this motivation, she founded her skincare line KORA Organics in 2009. The mission: to develop a certified organic and natural brand that supports self-confidence, promotes self-care and mindfulness - because "healthy skin is the most beautiful skin". All products convince with selected and high-quality ingredients, a natural effectiveness and a variety of won beauty awards. On top of that, the brand regularly supports various organizations, such as the Equal Justice Initiative.

Behind every powerful woman is also a mission. Kat Burki's is to challenge the status quo! As a recognized skin nutritionist, she focuses on quality and transparency in her products. Each product is enriched with a synergetic super nutrient complex - each individual active ingredient deliberately chosen. At the same time, the skin care formulas are free of fillers such as water, silicone or alcohol. Stars such as Liv Tyler, Isabella Rosselini, Winona Ryder, Christy Turlington and Jake Gyllenhall are happy users by the way.

Celebrity makeup artist Monika Blunder learned to push through at an early age. Born in Austria, she couldn't afford to go to private makeup school in Frankfurt, so the 16-year-old wrote a letter to the Austrian government declaring her big dream to become a makeup artist. This must have been convincing, because the government financed half of the costs for her training. Luckily for all of us, the eponymous beauty label she founded is botanically inspired, vegan and works with efficient formulas that comply with European clean beauty guidelines. The natural makeup has already seen on the faces of celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Amanda Seyfried and Megan Fox. Monika Blunder also aims to support women not only through her products, but also through her biannual donations to charities that benefit women.

For good beauty tips, the world likes to look over to France. When it comes to healthy and beautiful skin, it's worth knocking on the door of Mathilde Lacombe, who makes the popular French Glow accessible with her label Aime. The Frenchwoman suffered from rosacea for years and after creams brought no relief, a visit to a nutritionist became a lifechanger. Through a change in diet and targeted supplements, her skin became healthy again. This experience turned the Frenchwoman into Female Founder. Together with François Morrier, with whom she had already worked successfully in the beauty industry for 7 years, she launched the Paris-based skincare brand Aime in 2018, which uses ingredients such as prebiotics, algae extracts and trace elements to revitalize the gut. A holistic beauty philosophy for a visibly radiant complexion. Très bien!

We're not the only ones who are huge fans of the skincare luminary. Early on, Tina Craig made a name for herself as a television host, building a fan base. In 2005, she launched BagSnob, one of the very first fashion and lifestyle blogs. As a proven beauty and lifestyle expert, Tina was inspired to create U Beauty by the belief that beautiful skin doesn't have to be complicated. She wanted to create more than just a great skincare product, her goal was for it to be revolutionary for women. We think: Goal achieved! For years, she worked on a unique skincare hybrid that is simultaneously a toner, vitamin cocktail, serum and hyaluronic booster, refining skin texture and revitalizing damaged cells. Today, she is a multi-award winning entrepreneur and her products have a huge worldwide fanbase.
