Eau de Toilette with notes of incense, rose, vetiver and a beetroot accord, homage to Kyoto, unisex & limited.
Fourth leg of the journey: Kyoto. Japanese aesthetics, with their sophistication and poetry, have always served as a source of inspiration for the Maison. This eau de toilette pays tribute to the Japanese art of ikebana. This meditative art of flower arranging - also known as the "way of flowers" - involves the harmonious arrangement of nature according to traditional rules. The first Ikebana school was founded in Kyoto in the 15th century. This olfactory composition is built on three symbolic pillars of this art form: Rose represents man, beet and vetiver embody the earth, incense symbolizes heaven. A woody-floral creation with the purist grace of an ikebana of roses and branches.
The bottle echoes the tradition of furoshiki and is wrapped in a cloth whose sarayi pattern was designed by the diptyque founders.
