Warm resin, dry pine needles, and the earthy scent of the forest floor. Pinède captures the essence of a Mediterranean pine forest—a new limited-edition fragrance in Diptyque’s Herbarium collection.
For the summer of 2026, Diptyque invited mosaic artist Mathilde Jonquière into its creative world. Using Venetian enamel, glass paste, and gold, she created a vibrant interpretation of a lush summer water garden, whose shimmering freshness is captured in carefully arranged mosaic tiles.
To bring to life the summer forest captured in the limited-edition Pinède candle, she worked with deep green, warm ochre, and soft, shadowed gray. Each mosaic tile is set with deliberate precision, uniting the canopy, light, and undergrowth into an image as rich in detail as the landscape itself.
- Place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
- Protect sensitive materials such as wood or marble with a base or a tray.
- Keep the candle away from flammable materials.
- Keep the candle out of the reach of children and pets.
- When lighting the candle for the first time, allow it to burn until an even layer of liquid wax has formed. This prevents the formation of a tunnel in the wax and allows the wicks to absorb the wax properly, ensuring even burning. When lit for the first time, the wicks may produce a small amount of smoke.
- Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time after lighting it for the first time.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Do not move a burning or still hot, unlit candle.
