Description

Almond oil organic by Saint Charles is gently cold pressed and certified organic. The almond tree grows up to 10 metres high and belongs to the rose family. The almond oil is extracted from the ripe nuts of the almond tree by cold pressing. In addition to a high proportion of monounsaturated fatty acids and linoleic acid (omega-6 fatty acid), it is rich in vitamin E and vitamin B. Almond oil has been part of folk medicine for centuries and was already used for medicinal cosmetics in ancient times. In addition to external use, it is also popular in the kitchen as an alternative to olive oil. Saint Charles Organic Almond Oil is grown in Spain and gently cold pressed in a regional oil mill.
