Scented candle made from 100% soy wax, with notes of Pimento, Grapefruit and Cedarwood, hand-poured.
Inspiration: The starting point for Bookworm was Paul Smith’s Covent Garden office, which is filled with endless shelves of books, stacks of magazines and piles of records.
Hand-poured and blended with premium ingredients, this candle is formulated to ensure exceptional scent diffusion. The scent evokes library shelves in a wood-paneled room with a comfy leather sofa and a crackling fire.
Smells like: reams of paper and parchment, library shelves and warming amber.
Notes: Jamaican pimento, grapefruit and cedarwood.

- The scented candles of Paul Smith’s home collection are designed to recall some of Paul’s dearest memories, from cycling through sunny fields on his summer holidays to setting up shop in his first three-by-three-meter store in Nottingham in 1970.
- Formulated with raw natural ingredients, sourced from around the globe from some of the world’s finest suppliers, including LMR Natural. These are layered, complex, and enticing scents created when Paul enlisted the help of some exceptionally talented perfumers.
- The two-tone glass vessel that holds the candle comes with a lid, which doubles as a coaster to protect surfaces when the candle is in use. With sustainability front of mind, it is designed to be reused once empty, as a vase, a toothbrush holder, a plant pot or for holding bits and bobs.
- The colors of the vessel – orange with a red lid – are subtly reminiscent of the signature Paul Smith stripe design and are a tribute to his tailoring expertise.
- Burning time: approx. 60 hours (240 g).
- Free from paraffin and petrochemical ingredients.
- Only burn this candle on a level, heat resistant surface.
- Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Keep wick trimmed to 5mm.
- Stop using when 10mm of wax remains or wick disk becomes visible.
- Allow wax to harden before moving.
- Take care when extinguishing the flame.
- Keep candles 10cm apart and allow headroom for flame.
Tip: When burning the candle for the first time, let it burn until the wax on the surface is completely liquid. This prevents the candle from burning in a funnel shape.
