Candle The Alabasters Cyrnos

In its aromatic citrus garden, the sunny Cyrnos villa welcomed the flamboyant upper crust of early-20th century high society. Queens, poets and artists met in the shade of fig trees and parasol pines. They enjoyed a fabulous view and the easy life so typical of the blue Mediterranean shores. The villa benefited from Roquebrune’s air of scented lavender mixed with the dry aromas of Provence.

- Cyrnos: In 1894, Empress Eugénie decided to have constructed one of the most beautiful villa of Cap Martin on the Côte d’Azur. She named it Villa Cyrnos and created a semi-desert, mineral, contrasted and fragrant garden. Pines, the Cap’s typical trees, were planted as well as olive and fig trees. In this magnificent garden, the Empress welcomed the great names of an aging, nostalgic European aristocracy but also avant-garde artists and intellectuals.
- Delicate alabaster replaces the House’s signature green glass, transforming each candle into a sculptural object with a matching lid.
- Carved in Spain from a single block, each vessel reveals the stone’s natural beauty—its fine veins and unique patterns—making it a tactile and visual treasure.
- In Le Perche, Trudon’s master chandlers set the wick and hand-pour the perfumed, plant-based wax, following time-honored techniques.
- Each piece is finished with the House’s iconic gold blazon.

In order to get the most out of your candle, burn it until the entire surface of the candle melts.

When burned simultaneously, it is recommended to leave at least 30 cm of space between each candle.

Do not leave candle burning unattended. Do not set in a draft. Keep away from children, curtains and pets.

Should the wick require centering, gently readjust to correct position when the wax is still molten. Allow candle to solidify before relighting.

Should any black smoke appear, trim the tip of the wick. It should be clean and no longer than 5mm at all times.

Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests (with a wood or ceramic plate, for example).

To protect the glass, always ensure that 0.5 centimeters of unmelted wax remain for Classic-sized candles. L’Intermède and La Grande Bougie are equipped with wick-stoppers and will automatically extinguish once they become visible. (Always leave at least 3 cm of non-molten wax at the bottom)

Keep your candle in a dry and temperate environment, between 60 and 80° F.

The first use of your candle should occur within the two first months after its reception.
