Poirier D'un Soir
A single pear tree, cast in the shadow of the sun as it sets, forms the inspiration for Poirier d’Un Soir, Miller Harris’ olfactory snapshot of a midsummer’s evening. The whole tree is there - the fresh, ripe and refreshing pears, the greenery of the leaves, and the richness of the wood, ever so slightly smoky and warm. The shadow of flowers, the depth of rose and peony, cling to the branches whilst the tactile embrace of ambrette evokes the warm evening air as it languishes around this single pear tree.
Top notes: Bergamot, Pear.
Heart notes: Rum, Peony.
Base notes: Birch, Cedarwood.
- The scent of a beautiful pear orchard, the fruit laden trees, the sensuous experience of biting into the mouthwatering golden pear, ripe and rich. English fruits blended soft woods of cedar and subtle touch of rum.
