Paris in the early 60s. In the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, people party all night long in the jazz clubs, where artists of all kinds meet. People discussed, danced and laughed, there was a hustle and bustle and an atmosphere that was as effervescent as it was elegant. Orphéon was one of those bars bubbling with joie de vivre, where the three diptyque founders living in the neighbourhood met often and with pleasure. As a tribute to this time of creative friendships, Orphéon presents itself today as a fragrance portrait of this think tank. A snapshot that captures the clouds of cigarette smoke, blended with the powdery aromas of rouge and the slightly resinous scent of patinated wood. At the heart of the fragrance composition, the ambience of this unforgettable place is found, personified by a warm tonka bean note, interwoven with deep cedar and sparkling juniper berries.
