Sweep a light shade over the entire lid to create an even, softly brightened base.
Apply medium to dark matte shades close to the lash line and through the crease to define the eye shape and add depth.
Light or shimmering shades on the on the eyelid and in the inner corner make the eyes appear more awake.
Intensify the color along the upper and lower lash lines for added definition.
Blend the edges softly.
Pro tips:
- Build color in thin layers. Start with lighter shades and gradually add darker tones.
- The darker the shade, the smaller the brush: A wide, soft brush such as the Finishing Pony Tail Brush or All Over Eye Color Brush sweeps color over larger areas and blends it softly.
- A smaller, denser brush such as the Eye Crease Brush places darker shades precisely and enhances their intensity.
- For precise accents along the lash line, use a flat, short-bristled brush such as the Smudge Brush or Flat Eye Liner Brush.
