Description

Adorned with precious jewels and diamonds, purple velvet and regal ermine, the Imperial Crown is the very symbol of splendour and sovereign prestige. This scent wreathes the wearer in ceremonial frankincense, the sublime ingredient of royal coronations.

Top Notes: Elemi, black pepper, shinus mole

Heart Notes: Somali frankincense, leather

Base Notes: Patchouli, guaiac wood

The story: The Imperial State Crown is worn by the Monarch on leaving Westminster Abbey at the end of their coronation. It is also during the State Openings of Parliament. The crown is adorned with 2,901 precious stones and can be seen at the Tower of London when not in use.

The fragrance: Imperial Crown opens with stimulating notes of elemi and pepper, subtly focussing the attention on the wearer. The scent fluently progresses into an embracing combination of leather and Somali frankincense, which is used during royal coronations and forms the heart of this fragrance. A startling and tantalising base of patchouli, juxtaposed with intense guaiac wood, ensures Imperial Crown has the same mesmerising effect as the Crown Jewel it is named after.
