Organic Matcha Traditional is grown in the traditional tea region of Uji in Japan and comes from the first and second harvests of the year. The region is known worldwide for its high-quality matcha and offers ideal conditions with pure water, mineral-rich soil, and pesticide-free cultivation.
The tencha leaves are harvested by hand, gently steamed, and then traditionally ground into fine matcha powder in granite stone mills. This elaborate processing preserves the color, aroma, and nutrients optimally.
The Oshii blend of Samidori, Okumidori, and Yabukita gives the matcha a more intense flavor than classic ceremonial matcha varieties. The result is an aromatic, creamy umami character with a pleasantly balanced depth and no bitterness.

To prepare, place one level teaspoon of matcha (approx. 2 chasaku bamboo spoons) in a matcha bowl (chawan). Then add about 30 ml of hot water (70–80 °C) and whisk with a bamboo whisk (chasen) until creamy.
Depending on your taste, add more hot water or enjoy as a matcha latte with frothed milk.
