In 2015, musical theatre performers Ed Currie and Andy Coxon met while performing in a show in London’s West End. Their schedule was physically demanding: eight shows a week, dancing under hot lights, a dressing room five flights above the stage, plus rehearsals and training. No deodorant on the market lived up to the challenge. So they decided to create their own. In collaboration with leading experts in fragrance and cosmetic science, the Deodorant Balm was born — launched in 2019 as the beginning of a body care line with a clear purpose: Born To Perform.
