Lantern candle topper for atmospheric plays of light and shadow, suitable for Diptyque Classic scented candles.
A small pine forest by candlelight: Diptyque’s iconic lantern gets a new design for the festive season, transforming the classic scented candle into a luminous design piece.
Its silhouette is inspired by the distinctive shape of a pine tree, echoing the fairy-tale-like natural world of the holiday collection. As soon as the candle is lit, the rising heat gently causes the delicate lantern to rotate. A sparkling shower of golden stars captures the warm glow of the flame, creating ever-changing reflections and a dynamic interplay of light and shadow throughout the room.
A decorative piece with a poetic character that combines French elegance with the magic of the Christmas season—and showcases the classic Diptyque candle to great effect.
Height: 12 cm
Diameter: 8 cm

The lantern and candle are sold separately.
The lantern is designed for use with a classic candle.
After lighting the candle, carefully place the lantern on the base provided. The rising heat from the flame sets the accessory in motion. Since each candle emits a different amount of heat, the rotation speed may vary from a gentle to a faster rotation.
To remove the lantern, first extinguish the candle and wait a moment until the accessory has cooled down. Do not touch the top of the lantern, as this is where the heat is most concentrated.
Keep candles and accessories out of the reach of children and pets, and away from curtains and other flammable materials.
When using the candle for the first time, let it burn for 2 to 3 hours, or at least until the entire wax surface has become liquid. This prevents the formation of a wax tunnel and promotes even burning. When lit for the first time, the wicks may produce a small amount of smoke.
Trim the wicks to a length of 3 to 5 mm after each use to ensure optimal burning.
After extinguishing the candle, make sure the wicks are straight and centered.
Do not continue using the candle once only about 5 mm of wax remains.
When extinguishing the flame, use a candle snuffer if possible to avoid splashes of hot wax.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Do not place burning candles in drafty areas.
Do not place burning candles directly on delicate surfaces such as glass, wood, or marble.
Instead, use a heat-resistant mat or a suitable candle holder.
Never move a burning or still-hot candle.
Ventilate the room after the candle has burned out.
