Van Cleef & Arpels

The cornerstone of the legendary Parisian jeweler was the marriage of Estelle Arpels, daughter of a gem dealer, and Alfred Van Cleef, son of a stone cutter. The young couple shared an enthusiasm and innovative spirit, a sense of family and a passion for gemstones. In 1906 they founded their Maison at Place Vendôme 22 and developed their own distinctive style. The first fragrance complemented the range in 1976, inspired by Haute Joaillerie. To this day, the house stands for luxurious jewelry and the finest fragrance compositions, such as the Collection Extraordinaire.
