Maison Louis Marie

The perfume label from Los Angeles has European roots. It all started in the 18th century with Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars: a pioneer in the history of French botany who was exiled to Madagascar, La Reunion and Mauritius during the French Revolution. There he discovered countless plant specimens, which he brought back to France ten years later. In 2013, this family heritage was the inspiration for Marie du Petit Thouars, who grew up in Belgium, to make a clean beauty statement in her chosen hometown. A botanical tradition since 1792.
