- Developed in Denmark. Made in France.
- In 1752, King Frederik V of Denmark commissioned the Flora Danica, with the mission to illustrate and study all the flowers and plants of the kingdom, so that knowledge of nature could be shared. It took 120 years and the reign of six kings to complete this ambitious task. The project culminated in more than 3,200 color drawings, published in 54 volumes. Flora Danica was a remarkable achievement in the worlds of art and botanical research – an outstanding encyclopedia and a national treasure.
- Inspired by the history of Flora Danica, master perfumers Olivier Cresp, Nathalie Lorsson, and principal perfumer Ilias Ermenidis have created unique fragrances that reflect modern Danish values and the extraordinary diversity of nature. They selected precious essences such as iris, cardamom, neroli, vetiver, and oakmoss – the heart of each perfume – and refined them with high-quality ingredients to craft multifaceted, distinctive, and timeless olfactory experiences.
