Tam Dao, the first woody eau from diptyque, pays tribute to the sacred, most supremely fragrant of woods: sandalwood.

Initially, essence of Brazilian rosewood brings an impeccable, compensatory freshness to the heart of the accord, while the Italian cypress and unusual myrtle of the Mediterranean maquis, two camphorated coniferous trees, begin to exude woody notes that are yet quite open and airy. With this foundation in place, the sandalwood can express itself at leisure, all sensuality and milky velvet, spicy incantations and noble power. At its side, cedar presents its matchless dryness, and ambergris adds an additional, exquisitely moving touch.
