Bio Matcha Ceremonial

This high-quality organic matcha comes from the traditional tea region of Uji in Japan, which is known for its pure water, nutrient-rich soil, and centuries-old tea culture. Only the delicate tencha leaves from the first harvest are used for this matcha. After harvesting, the leaves are gently steamed, dried, and then slowly ground into a particularly fine powder in granite stone mills.

The Oshii Ceremonial Blend, made from the Samidori, Okumidori, and Yabukita cultivars, provides an exceptionally harmonious balance of natural sweetness, intense umami, and creamy texture. The bright green color represents the high quality of the first harvest and the particularly high content of valuable plant substances.

The certified organic matcha impresses with its mild, full-bodied flavor without bitterness and is ideal for traditional matcha preparation as well as for high-quality matcha lattes.

To prepare, place one level teaspoon of matcha (approx. 2 chasaku bamboo spoons) in a matcha bowl (chawan). Then add about 30 ml of hot water (70–80 °C) and whisk the matcha with a bamboo whisk (chasen) in a Z or W shape until creamy.
For classic matcha, fill with hot water or refine with frothed milk for a matcha latte.
