This means that unnecessary additives as well as auxiliary materials, which are used for reasons of the optics or the taste (artificial flavors, colorings, coating materials etc.), are renounced. The pure substance principle is also made possible by the semi-automatic manufacturing process, which allows us to do without technological additives (e.g. release agents).
- The capsule shells are made of undyed vegetable hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, the so-called Vcaps® Plus. These capsule shells dissolve quickly in the gastrointestinal tract, so the ingredients are quickly available for absorption. Vcaps® Plus are vegan, as well as Halal and Kosher certified.
- The packaging is made of Green PE, a by-product of the food industry made from sugar cane. This environmental responsibility saves Biogena 100 tons of CO₂ emissions per year, while sugar cane is a very good CO₂ filter in nature.
- Biogena products are manufactured in Salzburg, Germany and Switzerland. The entire manufacturing process is ISO 22000:2005 certified.
