SWEED

Sweed is a creative pun from 'Sweden' and 'sweet' in English. A tribute to the home of make-up artist Gabriella Elio and the round pastel boxes, which remind of sweets or macarons. Based on the professional need for a range of lashes with a high and consistent quality, the Swede developed and launched her collection in 2015. Her philosophy: natural looking, artificial lashes that you can use on a normal working day in the office without anyone noticing that you are wearing false lashes.

VEGAN, CRUELTY FREE & SUSTAINABLE

Sweed lashes are reusable up to 10 times with their unique and comfortable cotton band. The products are animal-free and vegan. Plus, Sweed Lashes' unique packaging is recyclable, made from paper and PET plastic with no harmful additives. To create a round box, Elio was inspired by a glamorous retro powder box and sweet macarons. It took her 2-3 years to find someone who could make the iconic recyclable Sweed round box, as it was a new invention that didn't exist on the market like this at the time. Sweed's range includes classic, dramatic 3D, clustered or single lashes and matching tools.

HOW TO APPLY SWEED LASHES

1. Curl your eyelashes.
2. Hold the lash strip up to your eye to check length. Trim the band from the outer corner of the lash strip if necessary.
3. Hold both edges in a U-shape for a few sec- onds to bend the lashes.
4. Apply adhesive along the band and wait 30 seconds.
5. Secure the lashes by pressing onto the lash line. You can use a tweezer if necessary.
6. Finish with one coat mascara to blend the eyelashes together with your own lashes. Fill up with eyeliner if any gaps appears.
