FIGUERIE - Classic Scented Candles

For the house’s first interpretation of the fig, the fragrance becomes vegetal and woody, heralding the delicacy of the royal fig. The contrasted fragrance opens on a fresh note of white fig in its purest form: vibrant, green and woody — before revealing its shadowy side. Patchouli, a humus accord and earthy tones evoke fig trees sheltered for winter. A moss effect and a touch of sandalwood recall wooden crates. In contrast, Ambroxan CX — the jewel of ambroxan — adds vibration: luminous and mineral, like sun-warmed stone façades. Finally, a note of artemisia enhances the spring character in its most organic truth.

Fresh fig leaves and vegetal notes meet deeper woody and earthy accords, reflecting the contrast between sunlight and the shaded greenhouses of the royal gardens.
- Thanks to the Figuerie’s exceptional architecture, the figs — produced year-round — exuded a distinctive, unprecedented scent. In spring, aromas of fresh leaves, tree resin, damp earth and perfumed humidity would escape from within. At morning dew on the first warm days, opening the greenhouse creates a magical olfactory moment: humid, vegetal air, where fresh green and sunlit facets mingle with earthy, moist notes.
- Quite the ideal companion. An easy size to travel with, La Petite Bougie blends in wherever it goes and can easily turn into the perfect gift. They are manufactured at the Trudon workshop in Normandy, France, using unrivaled know-how inherited from master candle makers.

In order to get the most out of your candle, burn it until the entire surface of the candle melts.

When burned simultaneously, it is recommended to leave at least 30 cm of space between each candle.

Do not leave candle burning unattended. Do not set in a draft. Keep away from children, curtains and pets.

Should the wick require centering, gently readjust to correct position when the wax is still molten. Allow candle to solidify before relighting.

Should any black smoke appear, trim the tip of the wick. It should be clean and no longer than 5mm at all times.

Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests (with a wood or ceramic plate, for example).

To protect the glass, always ensure that 0.5 centimeters of unmelted wax remain for Classic-sized candles. L’Intermède and La Grande Bougie are equipped with wick-stoppers and will automatically extinguish once they become visible. (Always leave at least 3 cm of non-molten wax at the bottom)

Keep your candle in a dry and temperate environment, between 60 and 80° F.

The first use of your candle should occur within the two first months after its reception.
