XX Rose Glycolic Gel

XX is Monastery's glycolic exfoliant. 10% fruit-derived glycolic acid suspended in a Rosa Damascena rose water base. No synthetic buffers, no artificial fragrance, no preservatives aside from fermented radish root. Where most AHA exfoliants rely on twenty-plus ingredients, XX strips the formulation down to its essentials and lets the rose water soothe and hydrate while the glycolic acid refines. The result is an exfoliant customers describe as "gentle" more than any other word.

XX is suitable for all skin types except ultra-sensitive. It works two ways: as a leave-on treatment after cleansing for most skin types, or as a 2–5 minute rinse-off mask for sensitive or reactive skin.

  Key ingredients:
• Rose: An oil that contains a wealth of benefit for the skin. Rose absolute oil is packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids, all of which treat aging, irritated and congested skin
• Radish Root: Fermented radish is a natural preservative used in water-based products. This is a healthy alternative to synthetic and harmful preservatives like ethanols and parabens.

Apply 1-2 pumps right after cleansing and before Gold, Attar, or Flora.

XX can be used 1-2x per week under other Monastery products or as a 2–5-minute mask for more sensitive skin types.
